I don’t know if shooting rally after shooting dirt track, ALMS, and global rallycross could be considered a natural progression – but I have started to add it to my repertoire. While out in Nevada for SEMA and Red Bull GRC this past November (2014), I stayed a few extra days to shoot the Seed 9 Rally in Jean Nevada. It was the last race of the season in the Bilstein Southwest Rallycup Series taking place out in the desert. Full write-up and a gallery can be found on TheGarageBlog.
Last weekend, wanting to get out and shoot after a long, cold winter, I headed out to Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to cover the Waste Management Winter Rally. Winter sure decided to hit again that day, but the one advantage of it being so cold is that the snow didn’t melt on my cameras! WMWR 2015 is a regional rally associated with Rally America. I also wrote about it with a full gallery over at The Garage.
Additionally, I have added two extended galleries of images from each rally over on SmugMug. Prints of various sizes and downloads for personal use are available to purchase from these two galleries, priced for the budget-conscious. For commercial licenses, please contact me personally.
Now, if only spring would come…
